A drawing I made commemorating the release of the ASB for ps3! Also my first Daily Deviation!I had a great time drawing this piece and I think I learned a lot from it, I particularly enjoyed drawing Joseph

It's just the STYLE. Do not forget, that because of this style, this manga is presented at Louvre.
Style has nothing to do with the story and action!
Action in Jojo is amazing, there is a lot of violence, like when Dio turns one woman into a zombie, and then she eats her own child.
And there is a lot of black and violent humor.
And story is amazing. Especially what happens in the ends of parts 5 and 6...
Have you ever heard of a noun "Never judge the book by the cover"?
And in Jojo there is NOTHING gay. All men here love women, and almost all women love men (There are some lesbos though...). And if men look like they are close together, it's because it theyr Manfriendship.
I mean, in many other anime there a lot of girls who are in friend relationships with each other, but there's nothing lesbo. So why can't be an anime with a lot of males that are friends, but there's nothing gay eh?
So please, answer me, which Jojo anime have you seen?

yeah, I know, that's what shits me, while the story isn't to my liking either (the whole "spirits" thing just doesn't seem interesting to me), it's coz jojo has eyelashes that bat harder than a baseball player

Because Shin Megami Tensei series is turn based, and it's an awesome RPG, where you, like in Pokemon, collect DEMONS, and FUSE THEM, and choose your path. God, Lucifer or Humanity.
BTW, Satan is God's Judge in SMT series. Yes. Lucifer and Satan are not only different persons, but also they are on different sides of battle!

Within the story gender doesn't matter and it probably shouldn't matter to you either mate, try to enjoy the story for what it is, but if you don't like it, you can always move on. Good luck!

it has nothing to do with gender roles, it has to do with the fact there isn't much variety, even going into little variety in terms of how either gender is drawn, i like looking at differences in people, and a hairdo plus eye colour isn't much -_-

I think you're not very familiar with the Jojos's characters, I can assure you there's a great variety in face and body types, as well overall designs. You could check the jjba wiki for reference.
