It's been awhile since you've been around, in fact it's been awhile since I've passed your way as well.
At first I wasn't bothered. I figured I'd leave you to your business and perhaps we could reconcile later. However that moment of insobriety over a month ago has been corroding my mind for far too long.

Perhaps my actions were inexcusable. There's no way of telling if I would indeed be writing you this letter if moderation and common sense had of been on my agenda. Though hardly justification, considering the circumstances of that evening, you know me far too well to know that practical thinking on my part was far from attainable.

I won't urge you to respond. Knowing you, you're simply correcting my punctuation for your own twisted pleasure. Realistically, this has most likely already slipped between your fingers into a waste-bin. Regardless, know that I will continue to write, hoping in vain for a response.
