Description
There is an artist called Matt Bryans, who erases newspapers to create eerie, ghostly like forms. This was just a very quick try at such a process. I like it very much but this doesn't do justice to Matt Bryans. Google him!Related content

o wow i like this. i'm trying to think of ways this could be incorporated with the mineral spirits on newspaper transfer printing. it when you soak some newspaper in mineral spirits for about 15, then run it through a press with some acid free archive printing paper, and the ink transfers to the nice paper. i gives a ghostly effect, but it would be cool to combine both processes.

That sounds really interesting, i'll have to see if the printmaking department would let me do that. It'd be pretty interesting to combine it with different elements of printing like etching and monotype. Thanks for the tip! =]

Great concept. I think the idea ties in effectively with the rest of your body of work as well.

thank you. It really was just a experiment in procrastination. Somedays i just don't possess the urge to draw.
