I mean technically they're supposed to be lilies but the title needed to be funky.Hi I got some real cheap canvases from a dollar tree and wanted to see how they held up. Pretty good all things considered! : O The only thing I noticed was the canvas was much scratchier than the artist loft ones I've been using from Michaels and the paint smudged a bit after touching it? But it also might've not been completely dry so that might be on me. I might add some gesso primer to it next time, see if that helps.
But hey I'm really proud of this!! : D It's been too long since I've given Pippet any love, and I couldn't resist doing some fun moody artwork of her. I added the vignette, lighting on the flowers and the glow of the butterfly digitally in medibang. The vignette also covers up how badly I drew those flowers ;w;b I really wanted to do the vignette traditionally with my acrylic paints but I didn't wanna mess up the painting, I'll get there eventually. Hopefully I can open some posca painting commissions soon- Just gotta practice drawing humans with em.
