Alternative titles: My Motivation Dropped The Moment I Got My Copy Of Lightning Returns. (seriously, a contest on launch day @_@ I just want to jump into the game already) OR My Motivation Died The Moment I Saw That Maid Outfit (If I was the main lead in an anime...that would probably be the title.)

If Tetsuya Nomura happens to understand this, I only want one thing from him. I want him to convince Square Enix to put that maid outfit and the penguin outfit into the game...like paid DLC now.

To the actual outfit: my only motivation was "If I wanted to dress Lightning up in Gothic Lolita..." and I started doodling away in my sketchbook. Also technically, it's relatively spoiler-ish if I try to divulge further into my reasoning because spoiler and spoiler are kinda the spoiler spoiler. Actually, I hope the title alone isn't a spoiler >.> <.< I'm really sorry if that's the case for you. I APOLOGIZE AHEAD OF TIME. (Well in the demo, Lumina calls Lightning "God's Lackey" so it was inspired by that.)

The weapon is inspired by an umbrella to compliment the outfit. I think Lightning would treat the weapon like a giant mace that is surprisingly light, otherwise she'd need two hands to swing it for it's size. I couldn't come up with a shield design (or laziness). I believe there's a rose shield in the game and I think it'd go well with this outfit.

These dimensions for the contest are awful to be honest. Hence awful banner.
