Description
We all suffer emotional wounds or bounds, wishing nothing but to rest in peace. But it is often difficult to accept and/or express them, for we don't know how to heal. Sometimes being protective of one's broken self is expressed through traits we hate seeing in others, such as being agitative, condescending, biased, and/or selfish. It is not because we are ill minded beings, but because we feel troubled, unable to find inner peace. This understanding is not to justify our and other people's wrongdoing, but to help find solutions and to bring our own peace. The world is seen dark, but I do not think the world is a dark place; It is only dark if that is how we see and understand it. The world is full of misunderstood tragedies.

Creative title. I couldn't come up with anything more impactful - simple and concise I suppose.

I wanted to try to a new coloring method to give it texture (kind of uneven, graggly look). So for this one, I did not go with my usual routine in shading. This seems more aesthetically pleasing to me, and I am happy with how the results came out. This method unfortunately put serious limit to other details I usually put, but for the most part I am happy. I am especially pleased with how this method stylizes blood effect.

His hands look kind of funny but I couldn't fix it any more. I'm probably going to laugh at it when I come back to see it few months or years later.

School starts tomorrow.
Photoshop CS4, worked on it for 2 days.
