Description
The challenge was to draw a pony in a horror movie. I made several changes from the original submission because I had such a hard time getting everything just the way I wanted. It's incredibly difficult to make a xenomorph look submissive to the point that I even cheated by adding a sad eye. As a compromise, the eye and mouth are really dark so they almost blend into the shape.

I tried to give the alien a defensive posture with its claws curled in and hind legs uneven so it doesn't look like it's getting ready to pounce. Xenomorphs just have so many details and the more you add the more threatening they'd look regardless of their posture. In this case, my inability to recreate those details works in my favor
