I haven't been doing many black&whites lately, not to mention "typical manga style" drawings.... although this and any other works aren't free from western-comic influences anymore. It's not that I want to get rid of this influence. Because I don't :3I've grown out of "pure anime" thingies a while ago.
It's made in size of a wallpaper, so if anyone thinks it's worth enough to land in his/her desktop for a while is free to download it (but use it as wallpaper only, please

It's all made up and composed by myself (+ this one is based on my older deviation), honestly
Anyway - I knew and admired Gaelle's/Galou art long before she joined deviantart, but I can't recall any of her picture that would be simmilar to mine - but I won't be surprised if there were any incidental simmilarites to Galou's or any othe different artists' pieces, because I'm not the one who invented black-and-white or high-contrast drawings 
To be perfectly honest, I was thinking about Frank Miller's 'Sin City' while drawing this - although I did want to do this in my style, not Miller's.
Btw., I'd appreciate if you could show me what picture you have in mind - I haven't visited Galou's gallery for a while (no time), so I might have missed few of her pictures

I want to praise you (or rather your work) properly, but I don't know where to start! Every part of it is just so professional and aesthetically sleek, with an obvious demonstration of admirable skill . . . I could just sit and stare at the hand, for instance, or admire the curvature in her face. Or, perhaps, I could observe her hair and clothing . . . the use of shadow and shape are just . . . well, I hesitate to use the word, but perfect.
