Right now it's pretty cold, the first snow came down yesterday During the winter it's dark, not all the day here in southern Finland but yeah, in Lapland there's this thing called Kaamos and there's no sun at all for like a week or so. In summer it's nightless night and sunny 24/7 for the same time I was hiking in Lapland last summer and it was really strange trying to sleep in a tent when it's sunnyall the day But beautiful, of course!

whoa snowXD, we're still in the miserable greyness cept for the pretty leaves
but its getting colder each night.. and can't wait til i wake up with snow on my little shelter!! (its my first real winter....)

Your first winter, great! The best thing in winter is snow. It makes everything look better, covers everything that's dead and grey, as you said. And it brings some light to the dark winter days.

Well, I didn't do it myself, there was four others doing that too I'm in an artschool and this is our school's project and we four students were asked to come and do the mosaic because we are in a workshop where we do for exmple mosaic. It was really fun, we did the mosaic for two weeks in summer and our leader-sort-of finished the pointing (is that the right word?) later in the summer. So it took quite many hours and bandages but it was definetly worth it!

ah, no hyvä että on käytössä oli kyllä tosi kivaa tehdä sitä, se oli mun kesätyö viime kesänä. meitä oli joku viisi sitä tekemässä
