OH MY LORD THE DERPIEST OF TITLES.ANYWAY.
COLLAB. But a collab COMMISSION!!! Between myself and my loveface *FireofAnubis for the lovelylovely *SnowGuardian ! <333333hearts. This is of her character, Warrick.
Let's seeee how did we do this. Anubis did a sketch and some general color smooshing. We sort of tag-teamed the background composition. She did the base and smooshed some colors, and then handed it off to me. I shaded and detailed Warrick and the field and that tree and smoosed some more things. I then sent it BACK to Anubis for some final smooshing and THIS happened!

Bro it's all in the brush settings. Fiddle around with things like scatter, spacing, opacity, and flow to get what you want. Softer things have a lower opacity or a REALLY low flow and low spacing and sharper things have a higher flow and a higher opacity. Textured things look better with scatter. Uhhhhh etc. Gradients help too <_<. THAT'S HOW LOL <3

THE GRASS. ;vljnbkfgb graaaaaasssssss omg. I did it over the course of two days, and complained to anyone who was on the internet at the wrong time. And then I used the clone stamp a lot too. I still probably did about 65% of the grass by hand, but the clone stamp definitely did me a solid <__<.

Asdfjkl, this is so perfect looking! I adore the way Warrick has been drawn and colored. His pose looks fantastic, so bouncy and at awe while looking at the scenery around him. The background idea for him to be like this is wonderfully done, I love those trees and the grass along with the tiny cute flowers in it. <3 The leaves on the trees looks very well done, the colors in the background go so well together.
