Description
This is a self-portrait.Perhaps not one of my paintings of grander scale, but it's the most 'Linda-like' picture I've ever drawn, and it captures my mood completely.
So I thought I'd share, though it's just a small thing :]
(colours aren't supposed to be viewed on a pale green background like here at DA - take a peek at them on a darker background where they'll look like they're supposed to, hahah)

I really like the colours and the style, but to me the shadow under the cheekbone seems a little too harsh. Or, maybe it's the position. I guess it does suit the mood of the painting, but it seems off in some way. Beautiful work.

[size=11]I love the light vs. dark effect you have here. Half of the portait seems pure and open, while the other side seems cold and isolated. Similar to the yin-yang effect in everyone's personalities.

The purple tone work so well here, in a kind a "Duh of course purple would work well here" kinda way - the fact that I haven't is testament to how good you've made it look - great job!
