Sooo... yes.... weeeelll... I don't think this one is as 'good' as the one I did earlier, but it was fun to do. Tried something new, again, so, anyway.Snippet of the text meant to go with it:

The moss, underneath the touch of her fingertips, was thick, and sticky; when she retracted her trembling digits, it clung to the satin skin. Stubbornly, bitterly; scented in a cloyingly sweet way that became almost overwhelming, as she rubbed her fingertips together.
It smells like blood.
That was her first thought, and it was strong. It nailed itself firmly to the walls of her mind, and lingered there as she turned to rush deeper into the woods. Soft, silky tears streaming down ivory white cheeks.
Pale blossoms clutched to her chest, as if their bridal-veil petals could somehow banish the harsh words she had spoken - and those that had been spoken to her.

woah, so definately looking at the girl one would think 'wow, she's really pretty'. then i noticed the flower petals that fell, and traced them down the path. and jumped. out of my chair. you know that means the picture's good. the hooded figure reminds me of a ring wraith... I just enlarged this picture and looking behing her following 'the path of petels' I saw a man in a dark coat. it made me jump and now I feel the girl is in great danger (if that is what I am suppose to see and feel).
That is the first time a picture has made me feel like that, and if a piture maes me feel like that it has to be very good.
It really is amazing, and I like all the dark and dim colours used to produe a dark atomosphere.

When I glanced at the thumbnails of your gallery, this was the first one that really caught my eye. I instantly thought of the story of Snow White, and was amazed that not many came up with the same conclusion as I. But truely the work it amazing. The life like atmosphere is unique and your own. I love your work. It make my meager attempts at art look like kindergarden scribbles. Keep up the good work. You have an amazing God-given talent, please do not waste it!

i would hate to be stalked by a dark creepy grim reaper type thing in the woods, but i definitely love this piece. the composition is really nice, and the expression is as well.

It's beautiful, and she is beautiful. I love the detail of the background and also her little imperfections, like the way her hair is not exactly perfectly neat but she's still beautiful. Somehow, however, I don't think she fits in with the background completely. I can't say why, but it seems that way. Oh well. Maybe because she is too obvious when the background holds so many subtleties, or maybe I'm just too used to the more detail you normally put into your people and their clothes. I love the mysterious figure in the background, though.

This is a really nice painting. I love the forest, with all the subtle things like the bird in the upper-left and what appears to be a mammal of some sort climbing down the tree in the middle.

This is simply beautiful. I love the subdued forest colors, the damp feel of the mist that you've created so well with just the colors and the softness of the image. The girl reminds me a little of Arwen, but not so much. The whole picture itself reminds me of a Pre-Raphaelite painting. Gorgeous! ^_^ Breathtaking! Keep up the fantastic.

actually ok i will comment what i like here is the color and the way the woman look like like she knew that someone from the back(the dark figure) is following her in this garden and she is hurrying away from that shadow. so i think this look like symbolic to me. Its a great one btw.
