Sooo... yes.... weeeelll... I don't think this one is as 'good' as the one I did earlier, but it was fun to do. Tried something new, again, so, anyway.Snippet of the text meant to go with it:

The moss, underneath the touch of her fingertips, was thick, and sticky; when she retracted her trembling digits, it clung to the satin skin. Stubbornly, bitterly; scented in a cloyingly sweet way that became almost overwhelming, as she rubbed her fingertips together.
It smells like blood.
That was her first thought, and it was strong. It nailed itself firmly to the walls of her mind, and lingered there as she turned to rush deeper into the woods. Soft, silky tears streaming down ivory white cheeks.
Pale blossoms clutched to her chest, as if their bridal-veil petals could somehow banish the harsh words she had spoken - and those that had been spoken to her.

I love the way you painted the shadowy hooded figure in the background and I like how the picture flows from one point to another telling the story behind the image.

She is lost but found... Confused but calm... And on her trail behind her dances the petals of a lover's wrongs....Sorrow is the answer and she bleeds the clarity of this... she is haunted by garden silk and stained in beguileing innocence.... A shadow to the lover.... For this milky maiden now soiled in the bath of tears and cradled in petals.... Now flees the touch of others and seeks the limbs of lonely!!

Now I wonder why you thought it was not as good as your previous ones... from the viewer's point of view, in the contrary, i see a truly mastered technic, it seems that you had no problem at all doing it. You're able to find immediatly the right brush stroke and the perfect color tone. No wonder why you have spent less time on it!
Meaningly speaking, I just love it, so emotional, moody, romantic. The forest inhabitants, quiet in the dense fog, give this fairy tale atmosphere, while the two characters add the tense of the adult's insides. I can't help thinking that the shadow of that guy following her is only shaped by her imagination, consequence of her fear growing at each step. Her expression, despite what some said, looks more than perfect to me. I'm almost jealous !
There would be a million things to say about it. You probably don't expect that much.

The mood in this peice came out really well, it almost gives me shivers just looking at it, the petals falling out of her hand and her expression really lend themselves well to the overall feeling of pending doom. I'm astounded as usual. Keep it up and see you around
