I did not intend to update deviantart before the fav note thing had changed... but I received a letter this morning on how unfair I'm being... so I guess here I am, in spite of everything.As for this picture - her hand is screwed up, I know... I just don't have the time to fix it right now.
There is a little bit of writing to go with it, as with most my pictures:

Surrender.
pale like the first snow.
cold as the tempting, tentative touch,
of the shivering frost.
dim like the early morning -
smooth, and sugary,
like the lingering taste of chocolate.
warm, as only a spring morning can be,
delicate like a child's fingers.
surrender.
surrender me.
cool like the blade of a dagger.

Well, you remind me with a painter called Ismael Diab in Egypt. He is painting same way u paint. But I think the deferent between you and him is that you always take care of softness ur touches. but he always apply touches which u can see and like, touch make more value for work.
Well, I still remember that portrait u made with makeup, it looks deferent of all ur paintings. but nice skills any way

really great picture and lots of details and nifty things in it! the detail of the knife behind his back, her giving in to him, birds flying in the background and the very stylish clothes that adds such a nice athmosphere and sorta darkish-creepy-Undying thing to it. that pattern thing in the upper right corner i would usually had said doesnt fit in but somehow it looks so good and it doesnt hurt the picture at all, so just very good job. favsie

The dress is amazing, but the man's clothes are looking a bit plasticky. I love the bit of typo in the top right corner. Keep it up.

Linda this is awesome off course, but where is the dark lighting and blood as always? i like your bloody thing. and want to see more. Er.. but iwant u to make more fairy too.
In last post u make more detail on the whole thing. But in this one, i see u used too much blur and smudged? am i right?
I post my work too on [link] , but it was rejected coz it has too much blury he said. SO, i wonder what is the meaning that my art is too much blurry? Coz i think my work is just like this one, (not forcing)

The high amount of fine detail is excellent, I can't imagine the huge amount of work (and hours) you put only to make her dress. And the detail on the faces, shading and highlightning is excellent too... your images are always very realistic.

maybe the hand looks a little awkward (the angle of her face too in my opinion)
but the blades put so much emotion in it that I didn't really notice.
as always, the details of the faces and of the clothes are something beyond exceptional.
