Description
The work on my 1/35 death dozer so far, pretty much ready for primer(got some interior work to do) while it may look like madness(cause it is a bit) when painted hopefully it will really look the part. thought it would be good to get a shot of it before, that way its easy to see the work and parts that have gone into it.kit details, bits bin details,PE, resin sets and figurines ohh my, this was a bit of work to get it to this point. the figures are still in pretty rough shape and i have only played with the stowage a bit, when done it really will be loaded down with gear.
did a bit of scratch building and added a ton of to scale 1/35 bolts to alot of the slapped on armor. i tried to show some restraint and only used a few choice gundam bobs. tho that restraint was lost when it came to the guns, as i have added alot, hopefully its not too funky looking.
anyways i got the front dozer blade to bash bit and then i will get to the really fun part of the built and get to paint this sucker. hopefully if all works out, ill be elbow deep in paint by this weekend.
as always questions comments and suggestions welcome.

Here, I still have some work to do an the Jesta, namely the legs and skirt armor... I'll tackle everything else over the weekend...
Then I'll start on the J2M3 Raiden, and I should be done with that by X-Mas day, or soon after...and That bird will be my last build for the year. Come the new year- nothing but Mobile suits..and the first one of 2K15 will be a 'Zeon' classic... and it's NOT the Zaku!!

Then after the Z'gok..... maybe a Guntank, or a Gogg...
you know how much I love the bad guys.....XD
but expect to see me build a Dom too..
but if you were to ask me what mobile suit would you love to pilot, I would say these 6
( in order because they are my favorites )
1) Z'gok ( it just looks downright brutal )
2) Jesta ( I actually like the MG kit.. it won me over. )
3) Zaku II J-typeΒ
4) DomΒ
5) Gogg
6) Qubeley ( because as one of my ex's puts it : " You're literally a smartass " )
I wanna see how that dozer turns out...
Oh- I blame you for getting me back into gunpla... XD
don't worry.. it's a VERY good thing.

ohhhh GUNTANK, that's one that's on my personal list for awhile. lol try to hold back my future palns for gundams, as they release them at a pretty good pace. i got the HI-NU ver ka MG in my stash but still undecided what my next one after that will be....
lol the Qubeley is tooo fracking cool.
Hopefully the dozer will be badass. seeings how the build has been fun and i already got the colors figured out. i don't see any problems with getting it done before the holidays.
working on the blade, almost done. tonight ill figure out the heads and body for it....
really are super fun models and a different build style. i like them LOADS. happy i could get you back into them. they have come a long way

Blaque-Natas In reply to enc86 [2014-12-10 23:16:25 +0000 UTC]
The Guntank may be a summer project... because I have plans for that monster.
the 'Qube' just looks weird...like an insect. You know I love the weird kits....
You know.. you could use the heads as a 'kill' count if you want....but how you
do the body will be the litmus test. Just remember not to let the back get too hot, or else it will either melt, orΒ
melt and break off. You want it to bend slightly....but not too much.
They have..... since when I first started building them..I quit because everybody else started to build them, not really knowing what they were building....Keep in mind that I was building Gunpla when it wasn't so cool....yeah, I'm dating myself to a point..I even remember the No-Grade Zaku I's.....ouch.

ohhh i bet you do!
lol yea i do, that's the reason i like it too. the proportions and design are wild.
yea the heads i think i got down, well at least have a couple now, the hard part is finding heads with killer expressions.
the body i am sure i can get down, i got tons of German troops on hand to work with. if i have to sacrifice a few to get one, so be it XD
yea i just had never really seen them much, intill i got back into modeling. back in the day, sometime in the late 90's i had a wing kit and it was not really all that good.

The freaky part about the old gundam kits ? You need a small phillips screwdriver
because of ALL the small screws....ugh. Gundam kits have come a LONG way since
the 80's..
I wanna do a Mobile suit Group Build.....hehehehe
and if we can put that together, I'm building the 'Qube'!!
That, or the guntank....
You'll get it right....
About my plans for the Guntank....... XD

lol i might be down for that in a few weeks. i got my hi-nu ver ka, that i am planing on doing a b-17 scheme on.

If we get enough people for a group build.. I may get either the Guntank, or the Qube...
Or one of the classics....( Gun Cannon, anyone ? ).....there is a catch XD
It has to be a Grunt suit...BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! j/k
and let's plan it for late janurary..give people time to recover from the silly season.

what was the problem, just not enough room?
nice, painting can be really fun(well is for me) and when the project comes to life.
π: 0 β©: 1
Markonator In reply to enc86 [2014-12-11 07:02:48 +0000 UTC]
No, it was actually the smell of the polyester and gel coat. People started complaining that the smell spread to places where they were working, although the room where I was working is ventilated and meant for painting and such. Totally understandable, I don't want to disturb anyone's work just because of my hobbies.Β
Yeah I'm super looking forward to it! The most fun part thus far has been the sculpting, but I think that the painting part might actually top that well hopefully, never tried airbrushing before, but I think I'll like it ^^

ahhhh i get ya! yea i spay in my attached barn but when i bring parts in the smell has been know to waft in(much to the wife's disappointment) but good that you figured that out and were respectful.
i think you will dude, getting to play with colors and seeing your hard work come to life, is wild. sure you will do great.
