Description The work on my 1/35 death dozer so far, pretty much ready for primer(got some interior work to do) while it may look like madness(cause it is a bit) when painted hopefully it will really look the part. thought it would be good to get a shot of it before, that way its easy to see the work and parts that have gone into it.
kit details, bits bin details,PE, resin sets and figurines ohh my, this was a bit of work to get it to this point. the figures are still in pretty rough shape and i have only played with the stowage a bit, when done it really will be loaded down with gear.

did a bit of scratch building and added a ton of to scale 1/35 bolts to alot of the slapped on armor. i tried to show some restraint and only used a few choice gundam bobs. tho that restraint was lost when it came to the guns, as i have added alot, hopefully its not too funky looking.

anyways i got the front dozer blade to bash bit and then i will get to the really fun part of the built and get to paint this sucker. hopefully if all works out, ill be elbow deep in paint by this weekend.

as always questions comments and suggestions welcome.

The phrase 'too many machine guns' shouldn't exist in the English language.

lol good, was hoping i would get conformation on the guns. almost slapped a big mecha gun on top but think extra guns are better.

Very cool Hate to run into that on a bad day. Thats going to be a lot of M2's and a 40mm belt fedΒ grenade launcherΒ to reach out and ruin someones day.

Thanks!
i was freaking very close to strapping a zoid gun on the top of this thing, but it looked a little too over the top, even for me XD
with proper support this ride would be nasty!

Very nice build. This WIP really shows the extra effort you put in on these. Really impressive. Can't wait to see how it goes from here.

thank you very much.
yea sometimes this little extra work(it really eats time) is kinda lost when the paint gets applied.
now that i have the ball rolling its all down hill.

DarrenStrecker In reply to enc86 [2014-12-13 04:47:28 +0000 UTC]

I don't think it's lost at all. I think all that extra work is what sets your stuff apart. It may not be as obvious once it's all painted, but it all helps to give your pieces personality. And all those little touches are why I can spend 20 minutes looking at a photo of one of your pieces instead of blowing by it to find the next interesting thing.

Resin can be disappointing.

i usually have pretty good luck and like them. the stowage set i bought was pretty awesome, well worth it. the figurines were alright, the guy sitting on top made the kit worth it for me. but really wish the heads and helm were separate.easier to paint and do swaps(as they are very Vietnam GI) the body's and poses are top notch.
the tiny anti tank missile, that was super disappointing. really small not much to it and it was like 10 bucks.

enc86 In reply to Ozzlander [2014-12-10 01:34:45 +0000 UTC]

Thanks dude!
yea all that freaking greeble stuff takes a big chunk or time, really tried to load it up. lol well see how much of its really noticeable when painted(did that on my odin tank, and it was hard to tell)

lol yes he is, literary in rough shape. i am hoping to sculpt the top half of his head and give him a mohawk or something when i get around to working on the figs more.

ahhh nice dude, they really do add to a project, even if you don't pick up on it right away. after painting you say? i would be kinda scared lol already am when i do stowage and such(i glue that on after paint)
