Description
Shawn Blazkowicz knew that it would be no ordinary mission when the OSS handed him the file. Super chickens, tanks that harnessed the power of rainbows and even death beams, it seemed the Nazi's were messing with powers that no one should control. it was a bit extraordinary and hard to believe but mere days later he was being dropped far behind enemy lines in search of their secrete stronghold Castel Cluckenstein. The impressive old castle loomed over the horizon with strange markings and statures. Nothing in his wildest imagination had prepared him for what he found. After seeing what they were up to he knew it was the upmost importance that he escape and report back on what he had seen......So I have been pretty busy lately and have not really had time to do much of my hobby but in the last few days I have started to catch up on all my work and was able find the time to come up with this small scene. Obviously inspired by my days/ nights as a young boy playing way too much of a very infamous pc game, here is my little tribute diorama to the classic Wolfenstein 3D. Made over the course of three days from random bits/ bobs and extra figurines. The figurines got some custom love and features two SS flamethrower units and forgotten hero Shawn Blazkowicz. Anyways now that I am getting caught up, hopefully I'll have more time to build stuff!

this one was a very quick project . it only took me a few days to make and maybe around 10-20 hours total. some of that was paint drying time.

yea some of getting good at scale modeling building is getting a personal system down. a lot of it is all time management. before i build i have a good plan on how i will do things and will be working on different parts while stuff drys.
in this case i was working on the base and building while while the figurines were getting painted and drying.

yea building up the story about the Germans for my dioramas is too fun.
and thanks, those flamethrower guys were fun but adding all the stuff(the wire that leads to the backpacks) were a pain.

lol you caught that...i am bad about coming up with names sometimes but their is usually some sort of reference.
anyways thank you and yes its 1/35. i have soo much 1/35 stuff that even if i quit buying models i would have enough bits to last me a few years.

I still can't believe that Wolfenstein 3D even made it onto the market back then, just imagine what it would stir up if it were released today!
