How did you do the tarp with aluminum foil? Is there a tutorial somewhere on that?
Again, everything looks great. Nice work.

ummm dont know if there's a tutorial. cant remember where i found the idea for this but it was during my research for the M4 high speed tractor, so maybe if you googled it.
but it was pretty simple, just cut to fit a sheet of foil. and gently warped and folded on back compartment then painted with enamels.

Ah, enamels! That makes sense. I'll Google around and see what I can find. Great effect it makes.

thanks again dude.
by far the most details(maybe parts) i have ever done on a kit. pretty crazy lol.
and i even lost a few(mirrors, windshield wipers) because parts dropped on floor or just vanished lol.

All your work paid off man. I can never imagine myself working on such a complicated kit in the near future.
A poor lost bits

i was pretty chalnging for me,but it was super fun, and something you dont see every day.
lol yea poor bits. honestly i lose/break/screw up/destroy at least one tiny bit or two on each kit. lucky i dont loose the hull.

This is really good, A++ quality, I love how you added the mighty monster, is just perfectly written. But better be careful with that foil, one wrong move, and you have to make another one XD.

thanks dude, i had a ton of fun on this one, lol way to long to come up with a name, and was kinda scared to hand paint it.
ohhh i know, dont know how long the foil will last..know my daughter is gonna want to have me open it up like a 1000+ times.

I would have gone with tissue paper and diluted white glue for the tarp. The foil would have been used to mask over the area, then soak the paper in the glue, cover the area and let it set.
I've had great results replicating tarps, flags and anything else that was suppose to be of some kind of material or fabric.
I once fashioned a poncho out of the stuff on a 1/35th scale figure, it looked really cool when it dried and was painted with a high gloss finish, to have it look wet.

ahhhh cool! when i had done my research for this thing i saw 50/50 some did the foil others did the paper approach. i decided on the easier foil, but now that you have described the process i might have to give it a go in the future. thanks for the tip and knowledge dude!

Your welcome.
Using foil is much easier, but I feel that the results are far better using glue and thin paper. The kind of white paper found in a shirt gift box or some other garment gift box. This is what I would use. Most of the time it's tossed in the trash anyway.

The hand painted words are just too perfect for it, and better start making some back up for the foil
