If you really want to learn how to make one, I suggest you get a knitting loom. You can buy it at any craft store that sells yarn. It kinda looks like a small plastic circle with pegs around it. Its super easy to use. Just look up some tutorials on youtube. I find knitting small balls easier than sewing one but thats just me.

I might try that, or make a slightly larger one. I remember a while ago someone trying to teach me how to make a hacky sac ball by crocheting. If I do make a lot though I wouldn't mind sending one out to you =3
