Description
*This is NOT digital work!*I carved out a slab of linoleum, rubbed ink over it, and ran it through an old fashioned printer (hurray for cranks!) I cut myself while doing this XD (I'm a natural spazz, thanks for asking.)
I'm working on a woodcut now, and it's no fun to carve
Please no harsh crits...This was my first time ever carving and printing...Just wanna prove I can do more than junky digital anime work XD
We had to choose a theme for our printing class, and I'm doing Greek mythology figures. Athena is in progress

linoleum is um...hm wot IS linoleum? haha! i have no idea...it's kinda...like...rubbery? yeah, it's like a slab of rubber, i guess? haha i dunno XD;
awww no car? haha yeah it was like that when i got my permit...everyone was too scared to take me driving...no one even wants to get into a car with me now...am i really that scary?

haha omg i am SO nervous about my woodcut print...not only is it hard to carve this block of wood, but it's gonna have to be a 2-3 colored print...T___T not cool...

Lino print, cool! I've been forced to do them in school - took ages to carve, and we had to do about four layers of colour and as many prints as humanly possible using the one lino. Ergh.

Wooooah~! I remember I attempted doing that once for art~! *--* I gave up so quickly because I am not good at carving at all. This is really, really incredible~! I love how you've done all the lines to look 'Greekish' or however you'd call it XD This is terribly good~!

Haha yeah I stabbed my hand accidentally when my tool slipped while carving...it was kinda like:

and my professor shows me this huge scar on his hand and told us to be careful...yeah, that helped.
