The photo is excellent, but i think you didn't quite understand the concept of "Photomanipulation".Photomanipulation is not apllying a color filter and cleaning up your picture.. That's called photo editing ! Photomanipulation is generating a completley new composition with the use of pre-existing photos. This is why the term is ofter misunderstood by the most...

Thank you. I agree with you. This not a photo manipulation at all. This is a pure photograph with nothing more than the slight shift in colors, but no such subcategory exists in the wallpaper section. As a mater I have many photographs which are more edited than this piece. I even bet that you won't find the most heavily manipulated photograph in my gallery.

then, the real solution to your problem is putting them in the photography section ! You won't have any problems with DA staff... trust me

I already have a photograph version posted [link]
This is a background because it fits with the simplicity of the motif and the big monochromatic areas. It has been downloaded 1219 times, so I think that people don't mind the lack of photo manipulation. If you prefer a photo manipulation go ahead use this and see what you can come up with.

And so the day came when Man left the Garden of Eden. Nature shed a single tear that fell on the eyes of Man and thus created the Sorrow.

Awesome man, awesome...

It's beautiful. I love the dreamy quality here and the monotone. Well done

Thanks a lot that sure is a compliment. I am checking you gallery right now. You have one of the best flower shots I have ever seen, which is making your comment even more appreciated. As for the dreamy quality, I owe that to poor lens quality (at low distances).

as for the unintended dreamy quality: i know all about that sort of thing. happens to me sometimes too.
sometimes it works out.

Actually I don't have macro. I am just pushing my standard 18 - 55 (x1.6) zoom lens to the limit.
