Jareth and Toby from return to Labrynth...Interesting new Manga now out there as a follow up to Labrynth <3
I do rather wish though that the inside art matched the cover art... the cover art is beautiful!...and while the inside art dosen't make me want to hurl or anything... its a bit like trying to tango in sneekers and baggy pants.

Your work has more depth and caring than that horrid Manga thing... the only reason I own it is it's Labyrinth... and I keep hoping Brian Henson will come to his senses.

I totally Agree that the manga should match the cover art. they draw you in with the art and the promise of an interesting story and only deliver on the story

Yeah, inside art is drawn by silly American's trying to draw Anime/Japanese art (excluding you and the rest of us that are actually GOOD at drawing anime). xD They should've just hired the same guy from the cover to do the art or should've sticked to Western drawing altogether. xD

You're not the only one who thinks that about the inside art and the cover art, though if it helps, the cover artist, Kouyu Shurei, has her own manga series, called Alichino, if you wanted to go seek that out

Yeah, it seems pretty difficult to track down the Alichino books. I managed to find them all after months of searching, then the next time i visited Borders, i discovered they'd just got new stock in, and about 5 of every Alichino volume >>

Seems beautiful to me. If he doesn't want to use color he may want to add more depth with a pencil or a pen though. Say, using HB / B / 2B alternately could be a very good idea! I think the most troublesome part of this drawing (too light if seen from far) is the far right and the hand in the middle.

I just use a Zebra mecanical pencil...the variance I fear comes from my scanner ((yay cr-ptastic scanner XD))
