Description
Xaotl, Endejester's sister, writes a guest description at her sisters behest. From our Naruto based RP on Gaia Online, Shen (with the white hair) and Orochimaru (with the black) Pose like the Yin Yang, black and white. These two, one a conversion character (Shen) and one Cannon Naruto cast, (Orochi) for the purposes of our RP have a much deeper and unexpected relationship than anyone yet knows about, which therefore I won't discuss here. NO they're not in the sack. Jeeze, pervs. All of you.
Ende and I drew this together yesterday, along with the new picture in my own gallery "Shen of Konoha". Ende did most of the work on this one though, and I like it a lot. It's really quite lovely, and very true to both our styles in it's own way. I hope we can pull off the plot as well as we have the picture. ^_^ (Yeah I know that sounds total egotistical)
Fave it. You know you want to.

I am officially plotting to steal the outfit with the lotusy design on it. And I love how you did the hair and the snake. Plus you used the word oroboros. What's not to love? XDDD

Well, I meant I was going to try and mug him for his clothes (and likely get my backside kicked for my troubles), but I just might try a little pattern like that. S'preeetty.

Okay, I used it in a painting, on someone's sleeve. It was prettier when you did it, though. >.>;

Wow, it's great. Their EYES....oooo. And as usual, you guys draw the most fan-frigging-tastic hair in the whole universe! Oh, look at their expressions. And the beautiful yet creepily (yes, it's a word now! ) almost snakey quality of Orochimaru.

nice work
its a fantastic drawing
but i cant help but feel that you havent quite got the ying yang theme. i know you have a light and dark hir colours but i think if you could incorporate the ying yang symbol more into the picture that would be rather cool.

The reason I didn't do the actual circle is the charicters themselves do not in full represent the theme of ying and yang either...
It also drives me bats to see the 'smack in the face' ying yangs whenever people do this...sometimes a little 'theory" vs by the book I think looks nicer.

i dont mean to literally draw in the symbol
more like moulding the characters into the symbol
but if its not applicable it doesnt really work then

This is really nice. The cropping is a tad loose, and the blond hair leads you strait off the page visually. I think the picture would benifit if you defined the end of the hair, and used it to direct the eye back into the picture.
I saw this on the front page, and was really interested in the characters.

^_^ for those who don't know what an Oroboros is: It's a legendary creature: a Snake devouring it's own tail.
In Michael Ende's most famous work, but not actually his ONLY work as commonly beleived, the big symbol for "Never Ending Story" was a variant on the Oroboros, Two interlocking snakes, each with the other's tail in their mouth.
