History:
This takes place in an alternate universe to the Sonic games universe.
After the events of this world’s Sonic Adventure, Eggman uses the DNA in one of Shadow’s stray quills to make a clone of him, similar to the Shadow Androids. However, Eggman could not perfectly replicate the Hyper-go-on energy and made a Shadow clone without pure Hyper-go-on but still just as powerful as the Ultimate Life Form himself. Enter Nega Shadow Android.
Everything in SA2 happens, with subtle details. Shadow gets framed by G.U.N. for Nega’s crimes, Shadow gets sent to a Prison Island, Amy somehow mistakes Nega for Sonic, Shadow gets busted out, a fight between Shadow and Nega occurs, everyone goes to the ARK, and Sonic seemingly dies but is saved when he uses Chaos Control for the first time and fights Nega speed vs. power. When the ARK is turned into a planet destroying bomb, everyone agrees to stop it. However, Nega Shadow is so determined to prove that he’s better than Shadow that he would do what Shadow never would, keep everyone from saving the world. Shadow decides to fight Nega to buy everyone time, Sonic fights the Biolizard while Knuckles stops the Chaos Emeralds, and Shadow beats Nega and manages to knock the Biolizard out cold.

However, Nega Shadow uses the Chaos Emeralds to turn into Super Nega Shadow and uses his power to pull the ARK towards the Earth. Both Sonic and Shadow go Super and fight Nega Shadow outside the ARK with Sonic and Shadow winning against the android and seemingly killing him (he returns later though). Both Sonic and Shadow use Chaos Control on the ARK to put it back into orbit and fix the moon(SegaScourge made a theory video on this).
Personality:
Unlike Shadow, Nega Shadow is a violent, heartless, and merciless destroyer with a major superiority complex. Nega Shadow’s most dominating trait is his hatred and obsession with Shadow, making him see Shadow the same way Metal Sonic sees Sonic: As an inferior clone and his greatest enemy. When facing Shadow, Nega Shadow is single-minded about besting Shadow, to the point of obsession; nothing else seems to matter to him except proving himself the better of the two, even if it means destroying an entire planet to do it. Nega Shadow is also known for his immense hatred and rage, being prone for outbursts of rage and aggression when angry and destroying everything in a room out of anger. He is also arrogant, believing that he is better than all others and will do anything to prove it.
