Because we share the same birthday, and I haven't drawn Jirachi in aaaages X3
What is with me and star theme things

Anyway I really like this for some reason~ I went a little more... weird with it
I don't think I could do this again, which is sad
because I really like it
I imagine Jirachi to be like a child, like a kitten, I guess, as I've pictured it here. It sleeps a lot, it's very small, and awakens to the sound of singing. It grants wishes, but it does not discriminate; it wants to bring happiness. It's young, so having upset or angry people around does the same to it. Seeing happiness makes it happy ~
Anyway yes, *nestly , enjoy~!

I'm gonna ask you to remove it anyway (Including most of your gallery!), because deviantArt isn't a place to share images that you found on the internet, it's a place for sharing your own art that you made. There's a reverse-image search that google has which will usually come up with an original source for most things. Art theft is taken very very seriously here, and most people do not like others uploading their art unless it's specifically for someone and they've given special permissions for them to do that.
I'm also very possessive of my art and don't like people reuploading, especially when it's already on dA, and especially without even asking permission once you found out it was already here.

Although I thought that was what I was doing (namely asking permission, since I never took credit for it and did credit you once I knew), by leaving a message on your original, I will take it down because I know how much work you must have put into the picture and I respect your rights to it completely.
That being said, please note that the rest of the pics that I have uploaded are either edits (where credit is still given and a link is posted to the original author), or tumblr pics that do not exist here (on which credit is still given).
I do understand that people need recognition for their own work, and that taking credit for things that you did not do is not only unethical, but insulting to the author. That is the reason I immediately contacted you and sent you a link to let you know.

People espeeeecially don't like their work edited without permission! It's not just a matter of giving credit or not, the best respect you can offer an artist is asking BEFORE you upload, not uploading and asking for it then.
If people don't have their art on a site, it's because they don't want it there. It's their own choice where they share their art, not other peoples'.

I contacted Monarobot to check, and she said - paraphrased a little since it was a reply to me;
"Iβm glad this personΒ at least chose to credit and link back to me but they still never contacted me about reuploading my stuff, Iβd rather not have people feel like they can do that, some people have asked me about it to promote a compilation of my work but itβs been on gaming-oriented blogs, not personal blogs or galleries.
Almost all the pokemayans are commissions so I donβt think itβs alright to upload them elsewhere, and Iβm not happy about the recoloring and editing of my stuff, I get they were trying to make a compilation but altering the drawings goes a bit too far for me .... Iβd prefer if they took them down and please not to edit my work I would be very grateful, I donβt have a presence on DA and itβs clear from the comments that people arenβt really reading the descriptions."

I always admire those "Pokemon based on realistic animals" pieces. They're so creative and imaginative, and this is no exception! Especially because Jirachi is a rather hard Pokemon to do in this style, since it doesn't directly resemble an animal, like most of them do. So KUDO to you!
(I never thought of Jirachi as a kitten-- that's so interesting! xD)
The way you draw fur and shade it is amazing and way better than I could do any day. (I always admire lineless styles in general)
