Name: Alavindi / Lavi / Demon Collector

Height/Shoe Size: 5'6" / 9 US

Info: Alavindi, often referred to among the Sednian people as the Demon Collector, is a self-proclaimed demon hunter. She takes on any contract involving the takedown of one of the fowl beings, having been practicing powerful magics her whole life for the very purpose of bringing them to justice. The horns upon her head are purely aesthetic save for their ability to bolster her magical prowess. They signify her job as a demon hunter/collector, as a mortal who wears the horns of a demon boasts their power over demonkind. At the beginning of her carreer, these horns were jarring to those who didn't know her, but by now, all of Sedna has heard of her demon hunting deeds, no longer unsettled by the sight of the horned human as she distributes justice. Her version of justice, however, is certainly quite peculiar.

When she encounters a demon, she will indeed fight them as determinedly as if she sought to kill. However, once she has the demon worn down to a weakened state, she will instead cast her most powerful incantation upon it, trapping it in a state of ultimatum and bondage. While bound, if Alavindi can force the demon to say a particular set of submitting words within an hour, they will become hers, and the previous spell will take its full effect. The demon will be turned into a simple illustration of its former self, scrawled upon a tarot card. This is where Alavindi's darker side comes to light.

Her most prized possession is a seemingly infinite deck box full of tarot cards, each depicting demons she has fought, captured, and forced to submit over the years. Their very being is bound to their respective card, and she can use said cards to summon any demon in her collection at will. Naturally, it's for the purpose of tickle torturing them as she pleases, as even with her shadily good alignment, she adores tormenting someone like no other. In her profession, she has no need to torment the innocent, simply collecting demons to add to her 'toy box'.

Also in her bottomless tarot deck are cards depicting various bindings, which, when cast with a demon card, will summon the demon in that bondage instead of unbound. There are also a great number of 'tool cards', each depicting a different impliment of torment that she can summon to her hand at will. Despite her certainly questionable motives for taking on demon contracts, and her VERY questionable keeping of said demons, the common folk simply don't mind on account of the fact that they are exactly that; demons. They praise Alavindi for defeating them, and praise her all the more for making them suffer, and so the kingdom lets her freely carry out her contracts and increase the size of her limitless collection; a personal hell in her pocket.

On very rare occasions, Alavindi will take on contracts that aren't of demonic nature, taking down humans of dark or demonish qualities (those who indulge in criminality, tyranny, unnecessary violence, etc.). However, her deck will only hold humans and otherwise non-demonic mortals for two weeks before they're set free, and so she often doesn't even bother to add them to her collection (unless they REALLY deserve alone time with her for two weeks).

Personality: To demons, Alavindi is ruthless and cunning in both battle and torture, although it's extremely clear through her sharp gaze and devious smirk that she greatly enjoys every second of what she does. To other beings, she's kind and always willing to help, and has made many friends over her years in the business. She takes great pride in her job, and would be somewhat distraught if the kingdom started to forbid her actions, but she would abide nonetheless.
