“Minako! Kichiro! Where are you guys?” Satoshi called out, wandering the streets of Manor City. The sun had set a while ago, but the two hadn’t come back to the Pokemon Centre, which was strange.

“C’mon, where are you?!” The young trainer called out again, and sighed. “Why do they have to do this? I should be asleep in bed…”

A moment later a faint creaking sound suddenly caught Satoshi’s attention. Turning around to where it was coming from, he saw someone climbing the big gate leading into the Neon Mansion. About to go call someone, a few cars zoomed past and lit up the area for a few seconds.

“Oh you’ve gotta be kidding me,” Satoshi scowled, recognizing the person. He ran over to the gate when the cars had all gone.

“Minako!” The person flinched, “What are you doing now?”

Slowly the young girl turned her head around, looking at Satoshi with a stupid grin.

“I’m just…enjoying the view from up here?” She sung.

“Yeah right, you’re trying to climb over to get into that place!” He then grabbed the back of her shirt collar, “Well I’m not letting you!”

“Hey quit it!” She whined, being pulled back more and more until they both fell back onto the ground.

Minako sat up, looking peeved. “Must you be so annoying?”

“You’re the annoying one! Why are you out here anyway, you should be asleep!”

“I would be, but for once we have something more important to do!” She snapped. Satoshi paused for a moment.

“Wait, we? You’re making Kichiro do this too?” He looked at her accusingly.

“I’m not making him do anything!” She folded her arms, standing up, “Now if you’d kindly leave us alone to commit—I mean, participate—I mean, enjoy the view from high gates, that would be appreciated.”

Satoshi just narrowed his eyes, glancing at Pikachu, who had the same expression.
“M-Minako! I got it!!” Kichiro’s voice suddenly called out from the other side of the gate.

“Shut up! Don’t be so loud!” Minako shot back, as he bounded across the courtyard to the gate.

“…W-Wait, I thought you said Satoshi wasn’t coming,” The boy whispered, looking at Satoshi.

“I didn’t plan to! I thought you two would just come back when it got dark! I had to come out looking for you!” Satoshi replied, irritated.

“Look, it doesn’t matter, just get over here and let’s go!” Minako said, so Kichiro attempted to crawl over the gate and fell over onto the other side. (which was basically the way he got over in the first place)

“Ow…”

“So tell me what you two are doing. And don’t lie to me this time.” Satoshi said, hands on hips. The two kids looked at each other and frowned.

“…We had to get this,” Kichiro murmered, defeated. He held out a Pokeball, which he then handed to his sister.

“It’s Yukiko’s Spudle.” Minako added. Satoshi’s expression changed from annoyance to confusion.

“…Wait, you mean the Pokemon that was taken from her?” The two nodded, “Oh…”

“S-She really wanted it back, you heard her…and it just wasn’t fair of them to do that..” Kichiro poked his fingers together, looking sad. Satoshi sighed, folding his arms.

“I guess you were doing something good then… this time.”

“So I guess someone owes us an apology~?” Minako smirked, earning a glare.

“Let’s just get away from here already.”

About to leave, a bright light swept over them. They all looked up, shocked. A tall figure holding a torch was walking over. In a loud gruff voice the man shouted,
“Hey! What are you kids up to?”

The three proceeded to freak out and run away like idiots.

Mooooar Makoto Challenge. (Again, I'm no writer, so I apologise for the bad..everything xD; )

Anyways so this is from the part of the story where they meet Yukiko. After all the catching up and stuff she admits that she's feeling really sad because her Pokemon was stolen by some nasty people from the big Neon Masion in town. Her family has had a long rivaly with the family living there, so they have had a lot of problems. And now that they've stolen her Pokemon, Spudle, she doesn't know what to do. Of course the other three are sad about this, so Minako and Kichiro decide to take matters into their own hands.
