Hmmm...I have to say I've never seen anything quite like Ergo Proxy, it's just so unique.Β But if you're looking for something dark and violent I suggest Prarsyte, Hellsing Ultimate, Attack on Titan (you've probably already seen it but just incase)or Elfen Lied.

I've watched all those and awesome they were .Have you every watched Knights of Sydonia or Akame ga kill,they're pretty epic too.Β

That's awesome haha, there's also this new one called death parade, its not really violent its just really deep and thought provoking like Proxy.Β And yes I'm watching Knights of Sidionia and I've heard Akame ga kill is really good.Β Also I just started watching Another which seems pretty creepy.
