Things to remember

Doggo in Underscale is legally blind, but don't be fooled by his near complete lack of sight. He's really fast on his feet, and his sense of hearing and smell are incredibly good. Doggo has been in the Royal Guard since he was a teen monster, but at the discovery of his blindness he was suspended pending the outcome of Undyne and the rest of the guard deciding if he was still capable of doing his job. But he was re-instated when Undyne saw the way he avoided some kids that tried to sneak up on him and she saw how good his other senses had become to compensate for his lack of sight. Doggo is also a lot smarter than he is in Undertale, and simply keeping still will not ensure that you escape his attention.
