I guess if you want to live peacefully you'll do something, but why not just retire to the elders den? Tigerkit woulda been a good little kitty if you didn't run off like that and leave your mate and clan all alone to fend for themselves. I liked him, but he was an idiot to just leave.

i would've done it i'd rather live a life peacefully before i died instead of having my throat slit in battle to see my friends and family see me die right in front of e'm :T i don't think he's selfish at all he just wanted to die as a kittypet so that his friends and family didn't have to see him die especially tigerkit.

I understand what you're saying but I kinda disagree. Nearly everyone have seen their loved ones die. If he didn't want his family to see him die, he would've said it to Leopardfoot. He was basically thinking for himself when he left.Β

Yes. It was selfish, but think of it this way. He wasn't very happy as leader, and even though he had a kitten and mate, he knew very well they would be safe in the paws of Sunstar. It's hard to accept, but a lot of people rather take the easy way out, just because they are tired of making hard decisions. I'm not justifying his actions, just giving reason to his mistake.
