Description Just started to randomly doodle. I really don't mind if you don't fav this one, I really didn't try or anything. I just wanted to do a little something to get out of this artist funk I've been having. It's one of those art blocks when you have allot of plans for pictures, but apparently my hand has other ideas. So I just winged it and this happened. What the nightmare. Anyway, while I was drawing, I came up with a little story tid-bit for ya'.

___-__---____-_-__--__-___--_--_

She was old. She knew that much. She had been dead for too many centuries to count. The boldest memories went away first. She tried to hang on to those in between, not so important memories for as long as she could. The feeling of sand, the taste of food, or something as simple as a leaf. Eventually...All that faded too. Her name, her purpose, how she had died, even what she looked like.

Here in the Deep... No noises happened. Just that dull roar at the edge of her hearing. A quiet voice whispered she was not supposed to be here. Down so deep, down so long. But it was right. It was all there was, and all she knew. Like the dark ocean had sucked out her memories, and flooded her mind with burden less thought. She wanted to keep it... Keep it close. It protected her from the hurt of memories, and the pain of mortality. She was all wrapped up in the cold blanket of the Deep. But she started to feel something old, but it crept inside of her with new meaning.

....Lonely. She was lonely, here in the roaring dark. She felt the awful thing called loneliness eat at her insides, and she felt herself fading away. She had no reason to be here. No reason to exist. So why not just vanish? Let the Deep fade her being into the nothing of the vast.

But it was not to be. A being, bright and large, cut through the darkness of her Deep, chasing away the silence and the fiend called loneliness. The beast of light crooned in the water, so loud it sent pulses in the water. She came close and remembered one word... Light. She hovered in front of the eye of light, and the beast clicked and nudged the small being. It would have hurt a mortal, but she didn't remember what touch was, so she felt nothing. But emotionally... The Deep seamed to recede from her mind, and was replaced with that friendly blue light of the Beast.

After centuries of lost silence and forgotten memories, she managed one word.

"...Friend."
