I'm still alive. And let me tell you, much as I love my job, I'm really, really tired of drawing cute stuff.One thing I've always wanted to make a 16-bit sort of horror game. Along the lines of Corpse Party, Yume Nikki and Ao Oni, all of which were inspirations for this. For now though, I'll just settle on drawing for a non-existent one.

Try RPG Maker VX Ace. Relatively easy to use. Their Lite version is free and allows you to learn the program and decide if you want to pay for an upgrade or not. I'm making a horror game myself, using it, also inspired by those same games.Β More than anything the process is time consuming, but seeing your characters come to life is rewarding

I can definitely relate. I really wish cute stuff wasn`t so popular (especially in Japan), so that I could do more dark stuff.
