I don't know why, [link] ,but this guy seems a bit... [link] I don't know.... familiar? By the way, with the circus motifs about, it's convinced me that he's a demonic ringmaster, is that right? And it's awesome. The design does that, especially the hair... mouth.

You have the most awesome art style EVER. Like, Picasso's ghost is all "DAYM, THAT'S SOME EPIC WIN RIGHT THERE" and... AND THAT'S SAYING SOMETHING.
Oliver is love. Need moar. NEEEEED~ D:

Kinda reminds me of Mister Teatime... without... the... sentient clothing. Heh.

Sky actually, and that's how I discovered it. The book's still better though. And Marc Warren didn't smile enough.

He's awesome, isn't he? I got the book out from a library. I really want it though.
Terry Pratchett thinks my name is weird. He said it sounded like it was on fast forward ^^

DX Namedropping again, didn't I? Yes, I met him at the Nation signing in London. 4 hours of queueing was worth the twenty minutes in his prescence. He was making jokes all the time, and he even started rapping! Then he sort of trailed off... And somebody brought him a cushion and he worshipped it ^^

I have no words to accurately desribe how fantastic I think Oliver is, so I'll go with:
"Wow..."
He radiates so much personality, atmosphere and presence
He also reminds me somewhat of the works of Paul Kidby and his illustration of Mr Teatime, which just adds to the greatness

Ah, yes, hello, Mr. Endling. I am Miss Juniper Locke, at your service, and I would like to start off by apologizing for an extraordinarily late comment. About a year and two months late... I wasn't going to comment, really, even though this obviously deserves praise, you seem to be overwhelmed with it. (A year old and people are still talking about this?)
One thing that has been wearing away at my nerves is the amount of people saying how Mr. Oliver walked straight out of a Tim Burton movie onto your paper. Now, I absolutely adore Tim Burton, but besides the small feet and skinny frame in character designs, you two don't have much in common. Despite what people may say, I have faith that Mr. Oliver is an entirely original idea on your part. I can't wait to see whatever you end up doing with him.
You had a picture of him in you scraps. I'm afraid I don't have time to comment on both pictures, so I hope you don't mind me doing that here. In the other picture he has his hand on his little sister's head. You mentioned somewhere that he gets along "well enough" with his siblings. Is that really it? No sibling love? Or will I have to wait...?
Appreciating your artwork. Have a good evening, Mr. Endling.

I'd actually really like to meet this guy. I find everything about him weird. And therefore somehow he's someone I'd want to hang with.

it's a character with seemingly no boundaries whatsoever! you could do whatever you wanted (or HE wanted...?) with this guy, and it's be okay, because he doesn't actually exist! random costume changes, extra limbs, talking clothing, what else can he do?!?!?!?
*overreacting*
