These are some initial designs for a little personal project I'm doing for fun. I guess after a while of working with game art it starts to rub off on you.Then again when I was growing up I loved making characters for fighting games. Just moved into the MMO arena nowadays I guess! :] I dream of a game with the social aspects of a massively multiplayer game, the action/reaction based combat of a Monster Hunter title.. or maybe even God Eater, and the community building/sandboxishness of a Minecrafty/Terraria-ish title.
Can you guess the theme? Hint: It's pretty timely, considering the date..

There's Phantasy star online 2... But it doesn't have the sandboxyness.
There's games like Wakfu...Perfect with community, infact there are no NPC's in it! It's all player run, sanbox in it's fullest... Perfect, if you like Strategy games.
And then there's Tera and Blade and Soul. They wont be released in English for at least another century, but they could be perfect.
Also, loving these designs, especially fish-bug-dragon-mudkip there.

Well, there's a guy with Frankenstein bolts in a doublet, so prolly medieval with some limited steampunk thrown in.

Horror movie monsters, nice theme. took me a bit to catch on. my favorites have to be the mad scientist, the werewolf, and the creature from the black lagoon. who knew you could make that monster look cute? its adorable XD. awesome job on them all.

Halloween school!
We have, Zombie-Jock, Evil Genius-Science Geek, Principal Frankenstein('s monster), Ghost-Weird Girl (maybe?), Monster-Class Fish (maybe?), Queen Bee Cleopatra Mummy, Gothchild-Werewolf, and Vampire Princess-Rich shy girl.

I like the wraith looking girl, the werewolf, and cleopatra's designs. They aren't frightening but they definitely scream macabre. The eyes, oh gosh cleopatra's eyes... I LOVE THEM. Reminds me of Wu Ya from Xiolin Showdown.
