These are some initial designs for a little personal project I'm doing for fun. I guess after a while of working with game art it starts to rub off on you.Then again when I was growing up I loved making characters for fighting games. Just moved into the MMO arena nowadays I guess! :] I dream of a game with the social aspects of a massively multiplayer game, the action/reaction based combat of a Monster Hunter title.. or maybe even God Eater, and the community building/sandboxishness of a Minecrafty/Terraria-ish title.
Can you guess the theme? Hint: It's pretty timely, considering the date..

Love the expression you have on each character and the detail of their costumes. I'd have to say the girl in the bottom right hand corner is my favorite. Are you going to post a colored version later?

Great details on each character. It brings out each one individuality.
By the way, what style inspires you while you draw? Comic Western, Eastern Style, a specific artist?
I'm just trying to get some ideas and trying out different styles, but if I look myself it's mostly similar to what I already draw. So i'm just asking other arist what inspired them.

Then you should ask Capcom to bring the Monster Hunter MMO to the US. XD I sure as hell want to play it. Guess I'll just have to wait for the DS game to come out... *pout*

Endliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing! It's really not fair, why is all your stuff so darn good? The cleanness of the lines, the amazing use of greyscale, the interpretation of classic themes... It's overwhelmingly pretty. ;___;
I especially dig the werewolf. And the ghost's positive/negative shapes really mess with your head. (She also reminds me of that classic "do you see a young lady or an old woman" optical illusion...)
...Lastly, that's one INCREDIBLY well-preserved mummy specimen.

I had planned to comment and say something about what I'd put into a game... But no. I put way too much into the comment and I don't want to give other people the same idea <_< >_> so i'm keeping my ideas for now... Until I can make them a reality!!!!

I meant the way I draw, my art style, not 'what I draw'. Besides, when it comes to using someone's characters, I always let the viewers know who created them and what company licensed them.

By drawing someone elses characters your gonna end up copying their style of drawing and will never develop your OWN style.

I'd say classic halloween monsters. I spy zombies, mad scientists, frankenstein, mermaid (or fishman), ghost, mummy, werewolf and vampire. All in all, I love it and you did a great job.

This gives off sort of an Addams Family kinda feel when I see the big guy in a suit. Awesome style as always. Freaking awesome.

i always wanted to make an mmo fighter world thing (these are technical terms btw lol). the mangas/animes/stories for the .hack// series were always so interesting to me! these look excellent and i think i will aspire to do something like this. your work is always so inspirational for me. i love that you can make a picture look so dynamic if it is a character doing some awesome fighting attack to a character just standing there with an awesome expression (note the use of the word awesome twice in one sentence lol). lovelovelove your work ♥

This looks like.. steampunk stuff? I see victorian era looking clothes.. and some egypt stuff. The guy top left looks like Murdoc from Gorillaz. I love everything about this.
