These are some initial designs for a little personal project I'm doing for fun. I guess after a while of working with game art it starts to rub off on you.Then again when I was growing up I loved making characters for fighting games. Just moved into the MMO arena nowadays I guess! :] I dream of a game with the social aspects of a massively multiplayer game, the action/reaction based combat of a Monster Hunter title.. or maybe even God Eater, and the community building/sandboxishness of a Minecrafty/Terraria-ish title.
Can you guess the theme? Hint: It's pretty timely, considering the date..

While Steampunk is good, it may just be getting more of an overflow of content lately.
On a related note, I would totally side with the Steampunk scientist. He seems like a summoner class to me.
Unfortunately, we have no idea how long it will be before all of those elements can be successfully combined. For now, I'd say building these elements into Minecraft would be the best bet and the easiest (less demonically difficult) option for implementing said combo. Sieges, castle or otherwise, would be more than epic in proportion.

awesome ,i really like some of the character there and i hope you manage to pull off a game like that you dream, it's really hard to make a real complete game like the one you're looking for, i can relate to your vision about a great game and i would play it if there was a game like that, i really like monster hunter, and for i time i was all about the terraria so good luck
