Concept work for an idea called 'Warp' that came to me a couple of months ago.It's about a shrine maiden (kinda) bat and a big 'ol crow (sort of) who is always by her side. Mostly waiting for her to die.
..well it's slightly more complicated than that, but, there you go.

gruesome crow!! maybe you could show more face of the crow and make it more old and fearsome?? Maybe attach a scar on the beak or something like that?

This takes me back to when I first time I watched Don Bluth's interpretation of The Secret of N.I.H.M., I had figured that when you did something with anthropomorphics it would be incredibly charming. I really hope to see more from this new series of yours.

The character designs have a very... Don Bluth feel to them... You know, when Don Bluth didn't suck at making movies. Wow... that was a long time ago. It's cool that you have a new idea and all... but what about your other work? At this point, I'm thinking of commissioning you to FINISH some of them, like Living In Sin.

The bat reminds me of the russian bat Bartok, an old disney movie...

That is not a Disney movie. That is a Don Bluth film called "Anastasia". A lot of people mistake it for a Disney movie though, but yeah. Don't worry about it. It is just another common mistake. It gets me frustrated though when people don't know about Don Bluth and just assume it's Disney. He used to work with Disney, but as soon as Walt died, he didn't think Disney was the same anymore. So he left Disney. BUT ANYWAYS! Just don't make me catch you making that mistake again mister!...or misses. Or else I'm gonna be doing this huge rant ALL OVER AGAIN.

I really have to say, I seriously love how sinister the crow looks!

I like the character design here. Reminds me vaguely of John Bluth. Maybe it's the crow (Owl from Tales of Nimh) and bat (Bartok from Anastasia).
The only criticism I have is that the crow's face is too wide to be easily recognisable as not-an-owl from the front.
Also, he appears to be making a gang-sign in the first panel, but I kind of approve.
