Concept work for an idea called 'Warp' that came to me a couple of months ago.It's about a shrine maiden (kinda) bat and a big 'ol crow (sort of) who is always by her side. Mostly waiting for her to die.
..well it's slightly more complicated than that, but, there you go.

For some reason, as soon as I finished looking this over, I thought of The Secret of NIHM. To me, it gives off that sort of 'feel,' if that makes any sense.

I love how dark your characters can be!!! The crow in this is just the essence of eerie. And even the shrine maiden seems to have a dark side to her character too!!!

Very Don Bluth looking (Secret of Nimh, An American Tail, All Dogs Go To Heaven, etc) I like it. It's grabbing and I want to know the little bat's story and what devious plans that huge crow has in store for her.

What kind of bat is she?
Is she a honduran white tent bat? Cause she kinda looks like one. Or maybe a ghost bat? Because she could be that too.

Amazing. The bat looks like the bat from "Anastasia" while the owl reminds me of some old movie I can't remember the title of - something with intelligent rats. I really like the expressions and the helmet of your character - though the pink seems to contrast a little with the innate "dark" character of said helmet.

I agree with all the Don Bluth comments. When I saw that crow I immdediately thought of the villian in Rock a Doodle. But it was only a pang in nostalgia in me because this is one of the most original things I've seen in DA.
