Color experimentation. Trying to find a happier marriage between my lineart and strokes of color. I've never been too satisfied with overly polished looking pieces, I like quicker, messier sketch lines, even with color.I listened to this song quite extensively while making this: [link] Sometimes music really can make all the difference with your mood while drawing.

Anyway, this is very beautiful. I've added it to my favorites. I'd ask for you to make me some concept art featuring this style (with more realistic eyes though), but sadly, I have no money. I love the simple lines, simple shapes, and simple colors-- and yet there's so much life and magic to it, and the shapes are mostly realistic, which I personally find important. You should definitely tell a story based around characters drawn in this style!

I love how the "rough sketch" style looks, so much more than too clean and polished drawings. It gives this "live" appearence to it, like I'm waiting for it to start moving on the screen. This one is gorgeous !
