Description
Entry for the Devious Desktops Space Out Challenge. The basic concept was to imagine what the landscape of a planet impossibly far into space might look like. Something otherworldly.
The actual image is a macro photo of citric acid crystals taken at 10x magnification under polarized light. It was focus stacked with a series of images using Helicon Focus.

This artwork is beautiful so far.
The cosmic color and life color are harmony. And the emotion of geometry is easy to feel, deliberately.

Looks elegant and crystalline with those growing fan-like formations flowing outwards. Those "hot spots" of chromatic disturbances scattered about are a nice touch too which makes it a lot more interesting.
