Hey thanks for showing me this when I asked for artworkΒ to feature on Halloween . I really like this and I know this will be part of the feature. I was wondering mind writing a little bit about the processΒ ofΒ making this piece, techniques you used, inspiration Β and anything you want to say to include in the feature ? No pressure , I'll still be more than happy to feature you if you do not wish to write anything I'm not doing this until the 31st , so no rush if you want time to think on it

Well, I used a process I learn from taking a class by an atist named Bobby Chui,Β in schoolism. I started with a silhouette of the character then I start building up the values from there. When I got the rendering and color down, I added the textures from a round pillow I found on google image. I guess this came out of my mind from Nintendo characters and horror movies I watched.

It's certainly cute but has that morbid sense to it. I think the overall design is really well done and the textures seem to be applied this time with more care instead of how they usually are allover the place. Well done!
The lighting seems fine except for the very top flap where it folds over that crease on the bottom seems to not have a deep enough shadow since it's being blocked off completely from the light source. It makes it look a bit off. Also I'm unsure if it was intentional but the top stitch in the middle just underneath the eyes. The way it's lit up makes it look like a smiley face almost since the ones underneath don't have that same amount of lighting on them. Could be a happy accident or maybe it was intentional. It's a nice touch but it does make it look more cutesy instead of spooky so if that wasn't your intention you might want to look into that. As for everything else I think the fabric is well done. Though I feel a bit more darker values in the background directly behind the ghost could help to have it pop more as right now it's fairly close in value to the background.
Nice job overall!

Thanks for the feedback. I really appreciated this one.
I got to stop rushing my work so much and double check everything, but I adjusted the flap on the top. And yes, the smiley was intentional, and I also bring that out more by add some lights on the rim of the holes. I contrasted the ghost more but I wanna keep it looking like as it is hidden in the dark so I didn't push it so hard.
Btw, Sorry I haven't had the chance to play the game you mention. :/

Eh don't worry about it! It seems to be fairly popular already and will get passed through inspection.
Nice update though! The top flap does look quite a bit better.

I feel ya dude just take some extra time if you feel you're rushing through the work. Or even try your best to just leave it as it is when it's done and take the knowledge you learn from it and what you could have done better onto the next piece. You put out works real quick so take a little more time if possible!
