Finally get it done, CF2013 official poster art. The event theme this year is RPG game.This is a challenging piece for me but i had a lot fun doing this.
Special thanks to Neversummer neversummer.deviantart.com/ and Jared Cheah for the Invitation.
For those who don't know this event, it is a large Anime Comics and Games event held every year in Malaysia.

I love RPG's! They are the best video games; Assassin's Creed IV, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass, Skyrim, Persona4Golden, Dragon's Crown! They really are the BEST but seriously ~engkit you have outdone yourself with this piece of artwork! It is mind blowing. Does this piece of art make reference to any RPG in particular? I ask because the Panda sends my mind to two online RPG's; Warcraft and Wakfu.

Thank you! The panda is actually one of the original mascot of Comic Fiesta, named Michael. We want to portrait him like aΒ villain in this illustration, so i gave him evil eyes, black shiny armor, black cape and claws. I love RPG games too, i never play Wakfu before, but i like their character design very much.Β

That's really awesome. I love your art. Yeah, you're right. The guys at Ankama Games do have a great visual art style. Wakfu is a good game. They also have an anime too. We need more RPG's these days and less shooters unless they're crossed up with a RPG like Mass Effect or Borderlands.

hat is most impressive is not the lines or even the color, both of which are quite lovely in their own right, but that you can look at this and see that it has all the most notable elements of fantasy rpg and yet there is not visual exploitation of the female chars. that is impressive as hell

This piece is a lot of fun - there's a lot of action, even if the characters are simply posing, and the color is especially vibrant. I also enjoy the designs of the characters themselves. Wonderful work!
