Its not really a word, but a contraction, though it can be used both ways.

It's not a contraction either. A contraction would be more like "it's" or "isn't" or "would've".

You're too hard on yourself. Really, you grow as an artist. I went through your whole gallery yesterday, and you've grown so much. You shouldn't be less proud of this because its older and you've gotten better. You should be proud because this is where you can from.

And yeah, Jenny isn't blue...but damn nice never the less.

Well I've found that I progress in bigger steps if i'm really harsh on myself. If I'm like "The colouring's crap" or "The face looks stupid", then I can look at the faults and stop putting them into my art. It's kinda like a wake-up call or a kick up the butt.

And both their maws are awesome because they're EXTRA DROOLY c: Although I always have preferred dragon maws O.o

*shrug* Still, you should be proud of you stuff. Because its not all awful, even when you do something wrong, you should see the good you've done. But to each his own. If it helps you grow. And try to make sure that's not your art teacher talking.

I think my problem is I spend most my time looking at all the popular artist's work on this site and wish that I was that good. It's a little disheartening to see their art and then see mine, ahaha.

Whilst I'm not really so proud of this, I guess I am overall really proud of how far I've come with art. I gave up drawing for almost a year a few years back, but then I decided "You know what? I'll never get better if I give up...". And so that's how I finally got back into art c:

Its not about if a lot of people like your work. Its a matter if you like you work. You can't trust popularity. A lot of people just like what's popular, so if something is slightly popular, it'll swell to uber-popularity, and the new stuff can never break in. At least some times.

Well, i like your work, and a lot of people clearly like your work. Like i said before, why not put weight in what they say.

Anyway, you've really come a long way, and you've never really given up. Be proud of that, if nothing else.

Hey, my character isn't the only one with blue innards. There are loads more!! So you can make them blue if you want. I also have some characters with green innards, i find blue and green to be awesome colours.

Erm, i'm not sure. I'll have to see. I still owe a lot of art trades, so no promises.
