Description
Accepting the chilling silence of eternal loneliness,I surrendered to the war against my inner demons.
Ever lasting self misery hovered in my thoughts while
My head hung, face covered in a curtain of hair.
Lachrymal..
A single unseen tear free'd itself,
It trickled gracefully to the tip of my nose
And left me; descending as it glistened in the moonlight
And crashed to the dark soil beneath.
Reminiscence..
My history; filled with exquisite pain,
My memories; burning in luminous flames,
I could not attain tranquility.
I suffered immense doses of apathy,
Forgiveness forever toiled.
I was haunted with invisible scars.
Fists clenched, deflecting compassion,
I imprisoned myself by my own hand,
And I befriended none.
Revival..
Time chose to give me vision for one,
Allowing me to acquire an immortal companionship;
The mist cleared,
Revealing the untouched gates of my being.
My sanctuary of freedom now lies beyond mortality's grasp, Unseen by the human eye, Located beyond the forbidden realm of my core; it is the heart of me.

Love sets us free. We are full of doubts and self-hatred. We feel close to despair and empty inside but love gives us courage to achieve our dreams. An uplifting piece of verse. Nicely done.

You did a very good job with this poem. It touched something deep inside. It is unusual for poetry to do that. I love the part about 'exquisite pain'. Pain is never described like that, but it adds to the poem.
