~grim-adventures helped me pose twice for this. (oh btw, being this was 2 people, ~Bewdragoon paid extra if anyone was wondering!)I wasn't sure of these guy's temperments so I tried to keep it general: Hideki (AKA Phluffy Cod??!1) is seriously playing away at some Gameboy-looking device and Akira is trying to distract Hideki.
But more importantly that thing Akira is holding is a PINECONE.
I don't get why you called him Phluffy

And as for the personalities, they're almost exactly right! Akira is very childish and needy, but he's real sweet. And Phluffy is just kinda... sorta normal, but in a not-so-normal way with a little aloofness, just like you have him here!

I also love the style they're drawn in, it's very nice and unique!!
Phluffy's ears(? not really sure if they're ears...maybe they're just bunny-ear shaped...things...on his head... or something*fail*) and Akira's feet and tail I really love, also.
Really the only thing wrong here is that Phluffy has a cat tail, but I won't hold that against you at all, 'cuz I didn't even tell you about it.

Oh yeah, and about Phluffy's name... yeah I dunno either.
Assuming you read my dumbassery of a story about the Sims, and the shemale, and Phluffy Cod the womanizg pink gorilla, and whatnot, he really has nothing to do with that, except I had remembered the event (it happened atleast 5 years ago) and for some reason it was stuck in my head the entire time I was drawing Phluffy for the first time, and for god knows what reason I wrote 'Phluffy Cod' in the corner of the paper and since that's usually how I identify my characters, a friend of mine thought that was his name and I guess it just stuck XD
Or atleast, that's how I remember it XD

Oh boy, a huge reliever I got them right! I think the main thing that directed me was their expressions you drew them in - most people (including myself!) when drawing a their character for a ref, they're in their utmost "regular" general feeling. Akira was all smiley and coot and Phluffy seemed all cool-guyish =O
Ahh haha, I'm glad to hear you're the sort who grows from their inspiration, and not just makes stuff up on the spot! XD I haven't seen it around often but I know I do that too
Even if it isn't something Akira-ish to have a pinecone, it'd at least it's ok as just one of those random picture ideas lol

The only thing my computer suffered was the fact that your text even in small-mode, didn't fit the length of the screen of the monitor without needing a scroll bar :'D It's all good! All in all.. My pleasure!

Yeah, I think it's important to do that, because if you don't, the character usally ends up not very well developed, and I just can't seem to feel a connection to those characters.
It's really funny you should choose that for this picture, because Akira is one of those people who enjoys simple things, expecially nature, and Phluffy is a pop idol, so he leans more towards material things. That spoiled brat |D
