Oh... the "For Macs" link is only a tutorial on how to install it on GIMP. I'll update it now.

Either way, the download file for these brushes works on both PC and Mac.

Uhm I think if it is a .GIF file it has to be submitted to the filetype the catergory dA supports...

You'll have to look at this list yourself and find the best place to put it.

I haven't used GIMP in a year or so, so I recommend you watch this video. The lady somewhere halfway shows you how to get to the brushes.
