AWESOME TITLE DESERVES AN AWESOME -Aww see now I'm trying to strengthen my drawing style. It's for something I'm working on. Threw in some design elements, and then all of a sudden I'm like "Hey.. this looks ok without shading ._. ". So all in all, I made a 20 min drawing look ok as some sort of meaning-less poster.
This was a sketch I drew by following this one rule from a posing tutorial - draw loosly, don't think hard about the pose...
...And then this turns out a cool pose. Though the upward-bendy pose you see on a lot of indie/whatever-looking styles you see around enervates me

Looks like he just tripped over one of those lines. Thankfully his spider legs activated and saved him from a nasty fall. That's something I'd probably do, trip and look like a fool trying to re-balance myself, lol.

I love how you've overdone the background! It's dramatic, eye-catching and very overdone which reflects Zim's giant ego. You've subconsciously paired the background up extremely well with the character's personality! However, drawing him in your style gives off an awkward feel. This also blends in with the whole concept of the drawing. Zim is as awkward as much as he is confident and egotistical.
This is how you're images should be done! 'Draw loosely, don't think hard'
That is how I draw and how I often try to explain to others how to get their art blocks out of the way. It's easy inspiration.
Overall, a very humorous and well done piece!

YES and I thought I already did it, but I think now it's only for things I'm confident in, like regular, boring poses hehe. This should really help now for the new stuff.

A lot of the fans can only dream of those XD I remember when I was 14 and what you could say a hardcore fan, I could have wished for those with all my might... now I grew to only hope someday in the future they make them... I mean, it seems to work A-OK with Doctor Octopus! XD [link]
