I love how she said he used to be the most beautiful skeksi. Was he scaly? Or did skeksis once have thick heavy layers of feathers all over their bodies? Was he partially feathered with lots of vibrantly-coloured scales?

I love this interpretation and I LOVE the Hunter character! He's the only Skesis I feel a shred of respect for; he's super powerful and actually hunts for himself.

You're right. At first I couldn't believe he was a skesis at all because of how beastly and fast he was. Leaping high and running up trees. Especially when compared to the others who sorta just lumber around, heck even they seemed afraid of him.

I loved the designs of the new skeksis. I want to make more fan art, but the designs are so complicated I'm currently only comfortable drawing the gelflings.

I'm the opposite I think. I can draw beastly stuff, but I think I'd struggle with the more delicate looking creatures. I've love to give some fan art of Deet or especially Hup a try someday. They're so charming but the entire show has me enchanted. Anyway, thank you

1. I have the same problem. And 2, I also love the Dark Crystal universe. The designs are amazing, the lore is awesome, and Skekmal/ the archer (both of them) are my favorite charater(s). 😁

Oh yeah, same here. I had the vhs when I was a kid but it was a little creepy for me at the time. Then I went through a gem and mineral phase for awhile and revisited the movie when I was a teen or so, and then I fell in love with the world once I could finally understand it lol. I've finished the series today, and the world they live in is even more incredible. So now I'm sad that it's over. Without any spoilers, I'm also sad about a certain characters possible fate. Totally unfair if you ask me. Anyway, I'm done fangirling for now lol
