that's the trouble with my usual stuff, lower the resolution and all the detail goes byebye...

keep the pixel ratio up but make your canvas smaller
300psi is a nice number
and 640 *480 is very user friendly

wern't you whinging about your detail level?
lower reso shouldnt affect your detail
if u make one of those...in that program you use, export it or whatever as a jpeg
bring it into PSx and grab your free transform tool (ctrl+t i beleive) and squish it down to a better size.
then you have high detail in small space
will look better than the one you have up there now

i was whining about detail yes...
if you decrease the resolution, you'll lose detail....
afaik dpi only affects the quality of PRINTS, for a given resolution.
