Very enchanting picture. It'd be something of a waste if the new film is done with CG. A design like this cries out for hand-drawn animation.

She's gorgeous, and I'm always impressed by hw much detail you can put into everything. Even the way her hair wraps around her and around itself as it flows, casting the different little shadows is impressive. You've also done a super job on that pretty face (and, as always, fantastic eyes), and that body is amazing (and I can't see if the corset is hurting at all). The confident and slightly showy pose works wonders too.
This is much better than even the best 3D. Now if I see the movie I may be disappointed with the rendering.

Thanks! From what I've heard, it's no more "girly" of a princess movie than The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, or Aladdin, all of which were successfully marketed to entire families back in their time.
The whole Disney Princess merchandise line has turned the public into thinking that any of their fairy-tale films are only for little girls, and they're hoping the title change will draw a bigger audience than their last 2D fairy tale (apparently boys didn't want to be dragged off to a film with "princess" in the title).
We'll see what happens in November!
